“I feel a squareness waiting for the perfect red.” Or so, that’s what I felt compelled to write down when I woke up in the middle of the night last night. Around my neck yesterday: a brown sweater over a red collared sweater over a burgundy turtleneck, all patterned after Bella Ramsey’s recent Emmy Awards look: a green blazer over a purple collared shirt over a red turtleneck. I took a picture before I went to sleep, but only captured the gesture of it.

Love this! The gesture, the essence of a thing; a person, an idea, an outfit, a color. This photo perfectly captures the fogginess and possible fleetingness of nighttime poetics.
